What’s up, but it’s Rob! This is a pair of success and in this video here I want to talk to you guys about how to boost your sales by driving traffic to your website. Okay and by the end of this video, I’m going to show you guys a really bizarre way that I go about dragging traffic to my own website from my own clothing brand should be a really good episode, stay tuned. So there’s this correlation that exists between the amount of people that you bring to your website and the amount of sales that you make on your website. But there’s also this other correlation that exists between the quality of people that you bring to your website and the amount of sales that you make on your website.
This is the distinction between quality and quantity of traffic, so there are days where you’ll have like say only 40 people to your website, but 10 of them buy from you right, which is really good. The 25 percent conversion rate there are other days where you’ll have to say 150 people to your website, but only one of them buy from you. I have a really low conversion rate, which means that the quality of traffic that you’re bringing to your website isn’t very good now. What you’ll notice here is that you really can’t separate the quality of traffic from the quantity of traffic. Okay, both are absolutely necessary.
So you only have six people to your website right, but all of them buy. You have a 100 percent conversion rate. Well, that’s amazing. You had a 100 percent conversion rate. Those six people were like ridiculously targeted, but you only had six people to your website right.
So you can only really make six sales now, if you’ve had a thousand people. Your website, with that highly targeted traffic you’d, have made a thousand sale that day right, which is what we’re after here so both are absolutely necessary. You need the quantity and you need the quality, so the more sales that you make and the longer you’ve existed as a company. The better you’ll understand your customer profile. Okay, what your customer profile is is the characteristics and attributes that make up your ideal customer, okay and the better that you understand your ideal customer, the better you can target them on, say: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.
However, it is you’re going about marketing your clothing brand, okay, and this will increase the quality of the traffic that you bring to your website. So you’re, not getting people showing up to your website or just completely uninterested in your products. The best way to consistently Drive more and more traffic to your website is by setting goals. Okay, remember at the beginning of this video, where I said I was going to show you guys a really bizarre way that I go about driving traffic to my own clothing brands website. Well, here’s what I do whenever I have free time.
I will get on my laptop pull up Google Analytics and go to the real time section on Google Analytics. Okay in the real time section, you can basically see how many people are on your website right now right. So if I go on to my laptop and I go to my clothing brands website on Google Analytics real time, it’ll be like didn’t, you know, one person on their desktop is on this page of your website and you can basically see the full spectrum of how Many people are on your website and which pages they’re on so here’s what it gets a little weird all right with Google Analytics open on my laptop and the real time section open. I will get on my phone and go on Instagram and through liking, commenting DMing and following. I will try to get as many people to the website as possible.
Right now and basically, what I’ve done is I’ve gamified it I’ve turned it into a game. Okay, you literally try to get as many people onto the website as possible and they’re trying to beat your previous record okay. This is what’s going to make you guys really successful when other people are coming home and playing video games right and they’re actually playing like an actual game, it’s not getting them anywhere in life, you’re going home and you’re. You know you’ve made a game out of getting people to your website and making sales and making money by the way.
