This is Nancy from Nancy Bobby Joe calm and in today’s tutorial I’m gon na show you how you can increase your taxi traffic by using Pinterest and I’m gon na show you how I increased my XE traffic in less than 90 days by two thousand seven hundred And thirty, five percent, and the reason why I did this case study for myself in front of my extra shop – was mainly because a lot of the XE stores that have a lot of success. One thing that they have in common is that they swear by Pinterest. They, you know, they love Pinterest, they pin everything in Pinterest and a lot of these shops do get a lot of high view, something trades. They get over 1.
million or more monthly views per per month. So I decided to do it for my shop to see if we really helped and actually has increased my views drastically. So I do want to show you my XE stats, really quick. So, as you can see for April of 2018 to June, you can see the drastic of Pinterest and how much she has grown. I went from having roughly maybe twelve visits per month in the lucky day to for the month of June.
I got three hundred and thirteen business from Pinterest now for the month of July, I’m already at four hundred and sixty three, so I’m assuming since we’re halfway in July. Right now, I might finish the month with around 600 to 700. So that’s really really good and you get seven hundred clicks to your XE shop and get potentially more customers and more sales. So I’m gon na show you today exactly what I’ve been to grow. My Pinterest account my goal is to continue growing.
My Pinterest account to the point that I will have 1 million monthly views per month and right now, I’m at two hundred and seventy seven thousand monthly views. That means that’s how many people are viewing all my pins. That includes pins that go to my store hands that are for affiliate marketing that I have and pins. There are other people’s pins that I pin in my board as well so the arm. So this is just to give you an idea, I’m actually a little higher than that.
If you look at this graph here, I’m already at two hundred and eighty five thousand monthly viewers. But there is a delay on Pinterest you’ll, see that your numbers um take a little bit over time to really go to the actual number. So, even though, I’m at two hundred eighty five and it still says 277, it should be updated by next week. It’S usually like a week behind, so just let you know in case you see that your numbers here are growing. However, this is not moving.
It does take quite quite a bit for them to update it. So that’s something for you to know. So let’s go ahead and get started on this tutorial and I’m gon na show you exactly what I did and what you need to do in order to grow, your Pinterest account and therefore drive more traffic to your XE account or X eShop. So the first thing you must do is optimize your Pinterest profile. This will help you get more followers, so the first thing you have to do is use.
You have to make sure that you have your business name. I will choose your XE shop, for them. Make sure that your About section has something about your shop. I have a short tagline, so you could just have a tagline if you like, make sure that you fill out your location. Make sure that you fill out your web address of your business in this case.
Will be your extra shop and make sure that you fill out everything completely? Just don’t do the logo and this and then don’t put the website. Don’T put this so just make sure you have everything takes a few seconds to do and it’s very important because then, when people look at your account, it looks more professional, so they’re more prone to follow your account once you have that before you follow anyone. Anyone else or anyone you want to create a couple boards, so these are boards here and you could do you want to make sure also that all your boards are around your niche, so my shop is, you could buy prints for special occasions like weddings birthday parties, Baby showers etc. So that’s why you’ll see a lot of stuff like party invitation, wedding, invites wedding signs party filters, baby shower games wine labels, so everything is relevant to my shop.
You have to make sure that everything’s relevant to your niche. You don’t, for instance, if you sell wedding items like I do you don’t want to have pins of cars or pins of cats or pins of favorite places you want to travel. You want to make sure that everything is relevant to your niche. That’S so, and for any because then people are more prone to following you. If you don’t have a lot of pins or a lot of items to pin from your shop.
What I suggest is to create a couple boards that are yours are your pins and to create like two more boards. There are other people’s pins, so what I suggest starting is to do at least a minimum of five boards, so they say you do five boards. Just do one board and it’s wedding signs. You do. Another board is wedding or party seating charts boom.
You do another board. Bridal shower selfie frames boom, that’s another one. You do another board party signs and decorations, and then you do another board party filters. Those are five boards. If you don’t have enough items in your EXCI shop to create and fill up all these boards, then you will create as many boys as you can from your pins, and then you would do two additional ones like these on here that I have.
I have a wedding makeup: wedding dresses, two additional ones using other people’s pins, so you’re going to look for pins and pin them in these boards, so make sure you have at least five boards now, once you have those five boards, you want to make sure that They’Re fully optimized as well so, for instance, on the wedding sign you go in there, you would put the name of the board, so you write wedding signs, make sure you write a description of what the people are gon na find in that board. Make sure you choose the right category and make sure you have a cover image, so you will click here. You will pick the cover image. You would save it. The cover image, basically, is this right here you have a cover image domain.
One make sure you pick: one is nines, it looks attractive, then somebody might want to click on it or follow that particular board. Once you have that set up, and you have the five boards that you did for the day. You’Re gon na find large Pinterest accounts that are relevant to your niche and start following their people, almost like stealing their people. So what you do is you go up here? I actually like to find a one in wire.
They have a very large following, so I’ve got a wedding while I search for them. So this is from wedding wire. So I will click here and then, if you click on their name right here, it’s gon na take you to their profile. As you can see, they get 10 monthly monthly viewers, 10 million monthly viewers – that’s a lot. So what you would do is you go to followers right here and you follow their followers now.
What I try to do is follow people that have pictures and the reason why is because most likely, when they have a profile picture, most likely they’re always pinning and they actually like pinning stuff. So those are the people and most likely will follow you back and they’re, probably constantly pinning. So you go here and you start following people now you have to do this. Some. The key word is consistency, so you have to start following every single day.
I would say a minimum of 5 to 20 people make sure that you follow people that are relevant to your niche, that, like other other Pinterest accounts that are relevant to your niche stone. So this person follow wedding, wire, they’re, all about wedding, so they’re relevant to mine, and I will follow them and then you go here and you start following people as you can see. I already follow some of these people, so you put follow, follow, follow, follow and you keep doing this. I’M sorry clicked on their profile by mistake. So what you do is you start following the people like I said earlier before, I try to follow 5 to 20 people per day, and this is the consistency because then we, a large percentage of those people, will not follow you back.
However, a small percentage will – and this is where the traction starts – to build up when people start following you back now, along with following other people, you have to start pinning your items every single day as well, so, every day from here on, they say from here 290 days they say you want to do the same thing and kind of see or hear from 30 days to see kind of how you grow your account. You want to follow more people every day and then you also want to pin yourself, so you could reap in your store items. So you could, you know, go back and repin all the stuff that you already pin. So if you want to take this and take all the wedding signs, are you ready, pin and repin them again to the same board? You could do that you could repin them to a new board, so you could go and mix your pins with other boards.
That are not your pins, so, for instance, you can come here and you could put any wedding signs that have a beach theme. You can start adding them here as well, if you like, so that’s like a strategy that you could do, or on top of that, if you don’t want to do that, then you could pin other people’s boards, so you could create a board like. I do here. Wedding make up and start looking for a wedding makeup and pinning all those pins here, but you want to make sure that the consistency is to pin again 10 to 20. 20 is a great number per day and start painting and painting, and the more you do that you pin other people’s pins or upin your own pins.
Every day you start following other people, the more you do that you will start seeing that the snowball effect that your account will start growing little by little by little by little. This is a strategy that you could do every day is pretty simple to do you? Don’T have to spend that much time with it 15 minutes a day. That’S all it takes probably even less than that to be honest, but this is how you will see that increase increase growing in your Pinterest account. You see the growth growing, you get more followers, and on top of that you will get more monthly viewers, and so what I suggest is that if you do this on a consistent basis, you make sure that you have your profile filled out.
Make sure that you optimize every board and you do this in every single day you will see the growth that I have seen in my account and eventually you will have the two hundred thousand or whatever goal you want to go to now. As you can see, two hundred seventy seven monthly viewers and I’m roughly getting about I’m gon na – get this month about 600 to 700 clicks. Obviously, if you only have let’s say a thousand monthly viewers, most likely a smart percentage are clicking on the links to go to your X eShop. So you might get 15 clicks per month, so you have to keep growing it in order for your clicks per month. For them to be larger, so you could drive a thousand potential customers, so you could drive two thousand potential customers.
I can’t imagine if I’m getting now closely to seven hundred by the end of this month with two hundred seventy seven thousand monthly viewers. I can’t imagine in let’s say in six months from now, if I keep doing this and I grow the account to 1 million monthly viewers, how much traffic I’m actually gon na be driving to my ex eShop. So this is a simple strategy that you could use. I just had my baby April 23rd so actually didn’t do it for for 90 days, because I had to slow down because of the baby, and on top of that I didn’t do group pins. That’S another strategy that I’ve been reading about that I’m gon na start using this month is basically finding groups and you join their group and you’re able to pin and a lot of those groups have like forty thousand members and they have millions of members, some of Them and you actually get more views and you actually get more followers at a quicker pace.
So I didn’t even do that and I got these many followers. Imagine if I would have done a group pin and join all these different groups in relevant to my niche. How much more or faster I would have grown my account. So this is just a simple strategy to kind of recap: everything we talked about just make sure that you filled out your profile. Make sure that you create some words make sure that every board is revelant to whatever you wrote here that when they click on it is wedding, invites you don’t want to click on it and they click on it and when they go here you have other stuff.
That’S not relevant to whatever you’re talking about here, so make sure that everything is relevant. Make sure that you have you pin every single day and make sure that you follow people every single day. If you do that, like I said earlier, and you do it consistently, you will see that growth in your X eShop.
